
Meet Our Staff
Fr. Gino De la rama
Father Eugenio (Gino) de la Rama was born to Filipino immigrants in Queens, NY and grew up in Jersey City, NJ. He went to St. Paul the Apostle parochial school and Hudson Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University-Newark. After completing his undergraduate studies, he served as a missionary in Central and South America, spending five years in many impoverished parish communities. He entered the seminary and earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Theology from Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. For his first priestly assignment, he was sent as a parochial vicar to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood, NJ. In 2017, he was asked to be the Director of the Office of Priestly Vocations for the Archdiocese of Newark-- an office tasked with the admission of candidates to the seminary and the encouragement of priestly vocations. In 2024, he was then sent to be the pastor of Holy Cross Parish in Harrison which includes St. Anthony Church in East Newark.

Susana Morgado
Susana Vilela Morgado, has been a member of the Holy Cross team since April 1997. Over the years, she worked her way into parish administration, where she has played an active role in parish outreach, events, and community engagement. Her work has supported both the liturgical and social life of the parish, including fundraising initiatives and community-building activities. One of her greatest passions is bringing people together through faith and fellowship. She is deeply committed to fostering strong connections within the parish and look forward to continuing to serve, while encouraging others to share their gifts in parish life.
