Sacraments
Our Beliefs
Discover the significance of the 7 Sacraments of the Catholic Church, each a sacred rite instituted by Christ Himself. From Baptism to Matrimony, these rituals mark key moments in a Catholic's spiritual journey. As Saint Teresa of Avila once said, 'Remember that you have only one soul; that you have only one death to die; that you have only one life, which is short and has to be lived by you alone; and there is only one glory, which is eternal. If you do this, there will be many things about which you care nothing.'

Matrimony
Through the Sacrament of Matrimony, Jesus calls a man and a woman to draw closer to each other, to God and to the faith community of the Church in a permanent and total commitment to a marital life. As per Common Policy for Marriage of the Newark Archdiocese, couples must make arrangements with the parish priests at least (1) one year in advance for proper pre-marital preparation.
See our preparation kit below and follow instructions to register.

Anointing of the Sick
This sacrament celebrates the desire and truth of Jesus’ healing touch and His desire that we might have life and have it to the full. It is offered to anyone who is seriously sick, about to undergo surgery and/or suffering the effects of advanced age. Emergency sick calls will be attended at any time.
Call and ask to speak to a priest.

Holy Orders
Holy Orders is the Sacrament through which men receive from God the grace to perform the sacred duties Christ entrusted to His Church.
